How we'll work

Kimberly sees our challenges from a trauma and attachment perspective. Together you'll look for the root causes of stress and relationship challenges, and for ways to change patterns and create a more positive connection with yourself and others.

  1. Your story

In the first few sessions, you'll explore your background and family of origin.

  2. Your goals

Then you'll talk about what changes you'd like to create in your life, and what you want from therapy.

  3. Moving forward

From there, you'll explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, and how to move forward.

EMDR

Kimberly is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which may be used to aid in the treatment of difficult experiences and trauma. She often uses it to help clients process past experiences and limiting beliefs about themselves.

Approaches she draws on

  • Attachment-based
  • EMDR
  • Emotionally focused
  • Family and marital
  • Family systems
